Disillusion

Once I was a soldier
Once I was a pacifist
Once I was a warrior
Now I know peace doesn't exist.

There will always be a battle
if it's not blood, then it's the gold

Once I had dreams, for a future
better than the past
Once I believed in a world spinning way too fast

And time slips trough my fingers
